HEMEON, Mary Bernice- 70, Sandy Point, passed away in Roseway Hospital, Sandy Point on December 30, 2010. Born in Port LaTour she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Della (O'Connell) Nickerson. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing cards and liked her lotto scratch tickets and shopping with her friends. She and her husband Roger spent a lot of time travelling with their friends. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Roger; son, Jeffrey, Sandy Point; daughters, Elaine (Bo) Stewart, Sandy Point; Nancy (Joe) Reardon, Ontario; Wendy (Shane) Blinkhorn, Sandy Point; Patti (Tim) Crowell, Shelburne; Sherri (Barry) Antonia, Alberta; brothers, St. Clair and Rodney Nickerson; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sister, Valerie Stewart. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7-9 p.m. in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home Shelbure where the memorial service will be held on Monday, January 3 at 2p.m. Interment of ashes in Dall Cemetery. Family flowers only.
