It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecilia Dobbin announce her passing at Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Monday, January 10th, 2011 at the age of 95 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters: Mona George, Marie Pennell, Deborah Coll (Gary); son Ron Dobbin (Barb); 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister Marg Humber, and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Jim; daughter Nora; brother Med; sisters: Lizzie, Mary and Viola. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Curling on Friday, January 14th at 10:30 a.m., Father Bernard Buckle officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
