It is with heavy hearts that we, the family announce the passing of Robert 'Bob' Lavin, on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Bob is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Denise Lavin.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney from 2-5 p.m.
A memorial service to follow at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan.13, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with Fr. Patrick O'Neill officiaiting.
