Passed peacefully away at home in the presence of his loving family, Leo Patrick Walsh, 90 years, of Witless Bay. Happily reunited now with his loving wife Irene, daughter Linda and son William. Left with many treasured memories are his children Michael (Alice O'Keefe), Mobile, Joanne (Felix Howard), Leo (Linda Corner) and Mary Lou (with whom he resided), all of Witless Bay, and also daughter-in-law Sharon Walsh (Wisconsin). His grandchildren, whose every accomplishment he earnestly praised and rewarded - Dean MacDonald (Alberta), Linda Enriquez (Carlos), Wisconsin, Christopher Walsh (Mobile), Jonathan Howard (Kim Dadd), Witless Bay, Robin Walsh (Alberta) and Megan Walsh (Witless Bay) and his great-grandchildren Xavier and Miquel Enriquez, who brought great enjoyment to him in his final years. Dad also sadly leaves his sisters-in-law Margaret Walsh (Witless Bay), Madonna Dinn (St. Patrick's Mercy Home), brother-in-law Tommy Tobin (Norah), Witless Bay, Caregivers Alice Tobin (O'Reilly) and Elizabeth Carew; also many nieces and nephews, especially Larry Lundrigan (Janet) and also next door neighbour Judy Royle. Resting at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls. Visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, January 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Witless Bay. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Witless Bay. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the St. Patrick's Church Restoration Fund, Witless Bay.
