SUNRISE TRAIL - Bradley George Sharpe, 78, of the Sunrise Trail, Pictou County, passed away January 11, 2011 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Blanche (Hines) Sharpe.
Brad liked to fish and hunt, and loved his dogs. He will be remembered as a good, loving husband.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mae (Heighton); children: Darlene (Kevin) Pyke, Durham; Betty (Blair) Farrell, Truro; Larry (Vi) Sharpe, Truro; Lynn (Curtis Johnston) Houston, Truro; Angela (Jamie) Leedham, Middle Stewiacke; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; brothers: Tom, Bill, and Charlie; sister, Shirley.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday in Haliburton Cemetery, with Michael Simmons officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
