1925 - 2011 - Frank Savoie, 85 of Richibouctou-Village, husband of Edmée (Babineau) Savoie, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday January 11th, 2011. Born in Bouctouche on July 26, 1925 he was the son of the late John and the late Marie (Poirier) Savoie. Frank worked on the assembly line for Ford Canada in Oakville, ON for numerous years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Edmée, his four children, Pauline (Goeff) of Oakville, Lina (Sean) of Beamsville, ON, Ronald (Joan) of Hamilton, ON, and Richard of Toronto, his ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. He also leaves to mourn his adopted brother, Ernest Savoie (Clairice) of Bouctouche. He was predeceased by one brother Alfred and one adopted sister Emma.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Richibouctou-Village on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 7 to 9 and on Saturday from 9 to 10:45 am. Funeral Mass will be held at the Richibouctou-Village Church on Saturday, January 15th, 2011 at 11:00 am with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. In Frank's memory donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral Home, Bouctouche.
