Albert Cecil Perry, 77, of Westmount Road, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Lambert and Louise (McGowan) Perry.
Albert was an adherent of Westmount United Church and employed at manpower as a chief administrator officer, until retirement.
Surviving are his daughter, Janice (Johannes) Mosebach, Westmount; sons, Brian (Sharon), Glace Bay, Craig (Ruth) Howie Centre and Darryl, Toronto; brother, Lorne (Louise), Coxheath; grandchildren, Jennifer, Steven, Shannon, Laura and Jameson.
Albert was predeceased by his wife, Elsie and brother, Robert.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Saturday at noon followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 2 p.m., with Rev. Thomas Whent officiating. Private family interment in Mitchell Island Cemetery, Pt. Edward.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
