Passed away suddenly at his home, on January 9, 2011, Harvey G. Baker of Newman's Cove in his 59th year. Leaving to mourn his best friend and loving wife Lynn (Proudfoot); loving daughter Sheree; sisters: Daphne, St. John's, Doreen (Stan Mahar), Newman's Cove; brother Lester (Barb), Quispamsis, NB; nieces: Michaela Mahar, Allison Blanchard, and Emma Holden; nephews: McKinley and Kienan Baker; sister-in-law Susan Blanchard (Craig); special relatives, Carol Butler and Brenda Holden (Keith), as well as a large circle of other family and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving visitors at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Newman's Cove on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 11 am to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Newman's Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
