It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harvey Gordon Sheppard announce his passing on Wednesday, January 12th, 2011 at the Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 59 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, his companion Vera; sisters: Sybil Lemaire, Louisiana, USA, Doris Byrne, Lottie Childs (Norman), Phyllis Kendell (Eugene), Nova Scotia, Hilda Wheeler (Albert), Joan Youden (Gordon), Rhonda Sheppard (Terry), Alberta; brothers Bernard Sheppard, BC, Gregory Sheppard (Debbie), as well as a large number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Everett & Eva, sister Ena, brother Melvin and 6 nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 15th at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour Reverend Nellie Thomas officiating, followed by the interment at St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be held at St. James Church Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
