Lois E. Marjerison (Bedford) passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 9th, 2011 at the Beverly Care Centre, Calgary. She was born March 10, 1917 in Weyburn, SK and grew up in various southern Saskatchewan locations. She trained as a registered nurse in Moose Jaw and started nursing work in Kindersley, SK in 1942 prior to moving to Central Butte, SK in 1944, where she worked as a nurse for many years. She married Aubrey Marjerison in Central Butte in December, 1944 and resided there until 2001 when failing health required her relocation to Alberta. She was predeceased by her husband, Aubrey, sisters Thelma and Jean and brothers Lawrence and Jerry. She is survived by her son, Lorne (Cheryl); grandchildren Shannon (Chad), Lana (Herman), Carla (James) and Marci (Kyle); great-grandchildren Tyson, Jaiden, Kai, Rian and Zachary; brothers Victor and Eldon; sisters Dolores, Elaine and Yvonne; as well as many nieces, nephewsand cousins. Lois was loved and will be missed by many family members and friends. Cremation occurred in Calgary and burial is planned in Central Butte later this year.
