The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Port Perry Hospital, Port Perry, Ont., on Friday, Jan. 14, 2011 of Helen Moore age 92 years. Born in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Milligan) Ramsay. Survived by her children Winston (Carole); Eric (Diane); Deanna (Doug); Peggy (Dave); and Victor, all of Ontario; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Predeceased by her husband Stirling Moore; brothers Edgar and Victor Ramsay; sisters Etta Millar and Margaret MacLean. Visitation was held Sunday, at Simple Alternative Funeral Home, Pickering, Ont. A celebration service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011 at Altona Road Community Church, 1367 Altona Road, Pickering, Ont., at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, to Altona Road Community Church, Pickering or Gateway Community Church, Whitby c/o Peggy Smith, 337 Prince of Wales Dr., Whitby, Ont., L1N 6M8.
