Passed peacefully away on January 15th, 2011 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital with her loving "Niece" by her side Lal Soper aged 82 years. Predeceased by her husband Reginald (retired asst. fire chief) , her son Reginald Jr.1977,parents Jack and Annie Hussey, brothers Walter, Charles, William and Jack and sister Jean Hogan. Left to mourn her brother Harry "Ning " Hussey and sister Marjorie (Doug Ross). Also left to mourn her special "Niece" Sonya (Stephen Cullimore)and their children Meagan and Sofia as well as her little four legged furry companion Cabot. Lal will also be missed by a large circle of nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm and 7:00 pm-9:00 pm and on Monday from 2:00 pm-9:00 pm. Funeral service to take place from Gower Street United Church on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
