Kinden, Charles Levi

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Charlie Kinden of Stag Harbour on January 9th, 2011 aged 85 years. Predeceased by mother Eliza Kinden, father Alex Kinden, wife Jessie Kinden (Sheppard), Brother Roland Kinden. Leaving to mourn: Daughters Reta (Pat) Byrne and Ruby (Pierce) Rogers. Grandchildren: Patty (Steve) Carlos, Jennifer (Brent) Thompkins, Kimberley (Scott) George, Krista (Pat) Hulan and Christopher (Breanne) Hulan. Great Grandchildren: Jocelyn, Curtis, Patrick, Kate, Simon, Oliver, Brooklyn, and Cole. Special friend, Francis Collins, as well as a large circle of family and friends. Funeral took place on Wednesdayy, January 12th at the United Church, Fogo Island. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fogo Island Funeral Home (Gary and Janice Keats). Donations in his memory to be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Stag Harbour. Special thanks to all the staff on the surgical floor at James Peyton Memorial Health Center, Dr. Douglas and Dr. Govender. Also thank you to Rev. George Stockley for officiating and supporting the family. We are truly blessed and forever grateful to have the support and love of many family and friends during this difficult time.
