The family of the late Florence Newman wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone for the thoughtful support during the time of her passig. A heartfelt "Thank you" for the sympathy cards, flowers, on-line condolences and prayers. A wonderful tribute was given by Major Daniel Roode of the Salvation Army. om and family were gently cared for by Wayne and Kollin Weatherbee at Sydney Memorial Chapel. Catering was provided by Jody Oakley Catering. At this time, the Newman family would like to also thank the nursing staff of Saint Vincent's Nursing Home (Halifax) and the Cove Guest Home (Sydney) for the tender care of our Mom. To Brian Sheppard and Cora Dennis at the old Newman place in Edwardsville, our heartfelt gratitude for the opening of your hearts and home to the the Newman clan. We will not forget your generosity and kindness.
