HARDICK, Lois Anne - 68, of Yarmouth, passed away at home on January 8, 2011. Born November 1, 1942, in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late William and Doris (Kenney) Grant. Lois was retired from the Yarmouth Superstore. She was a civil servant with the Sheriffs department for several years. She was also employed with Avco Financial. She was a Beaver leader for many years and was involved with minor hockey, being a past secretary. She loved her grandchildren. Lois was an outgoing person and was always concerned about the well being of others. She is survived by son, Jeff (Tina), Yarmouth; brother, Kenny (Simone), Port Maitland; nephew, Billy Grant, Edmonton; grandchildren, Devyn and Eryn; step-grandchildren, Sherae, Monica, Terri and Austin. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny's Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Yarmouth. Visitation took place Wednesday, January 12 from 7-9 p.m. Memorial service was held Thursday, January 13 at 2 p.m. from Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. A.D. "Bill" Newell officiated. Interment followed in Arcadia Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
