Sheaves, Ada (Berkshire-Dwyer) - 79, Truro - It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ada with her children by her side on Jan. 13, 2011 in Elk Court, Brookfield just two hours short of her 80th birthday. Born in Corner Brook, NL, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Ida Berkshire. She is survived by her children, Gerry Dwyer (Marie), Orillia, ON, Colleen Mercer (Herb), Sydney, Sheila Johnston (Donald), Truro, Robert Dwyer (Barbara), Lewisporte, NL; grandchildren, Jerri, Kelly, Kerri, Colleen, Christopher, Tanya, Leah, Katherine, Jordan, Matthew; great-grandchildren, Kristina, MacKenzie, Delaney, Jackson; brother, Bob Berkshire; sisters, Hilda Connolly, Maude Barron; several nieces and nephews; former husband, Gerald Dwyer. She was predeceased by sister, Hazel Brennan; brother, Bill Berkshire. A celebration of Ada's life was held at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Gary Yetman officiating. Interment at a later date in Robie Street Cemetery.
