MILLER, Edna Lenora (Cook) - 94, of Tidal View Manor in Yarmouth, formerly of Carleton, Yarmouth Co., passed away in Tidal View Manor on January 9, 2011. Born August 27, 1916, in South Ohio, Yarmouth Co., she was a daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Moses) Cook. Edna was a homemaker her whole life. She taught Sunday school at Carleton United Baptist Church. She volunteered at Durkee Memorial Library in Carleton, and was a member of the Women's Institute. She is survived by son, Bernard (Mary Ann) Miller, Carleton; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. She was predeceased by husband, Lyndon; sisters, Gladys and Eula; brothers, Merton, Clayton and George; grandson, William. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Yarmouth. There will be no visitation by family request. Funeral service was held Wednesday, January 12 at 2 p.m. from Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Don Moses officiated. Interment followed in Carleton Cemetery. Family flowers only, please.
