Robert Edward William Tone passed away peacefully in Lethbridge Hospital surrounded by loved ones on January 5, 2011 at the age of 63. Bob was born September 12, 1947 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. He was the first born child of Bill and Annie Tone. Bob had an infectious laugh and his sense of humour had people laughing continually. A motto he lived by was; "A job worth doing is a job worth doing well." It did not matter if it was work or play he was determined to excel. Bob was passionate about hiking, dancing, horseback riding, hockey games and baseball. He was an adventurous individual who loved to travel, but his greatest passion was his family which brought him great joy. He is survived by his loving companion Elizabeth; children Chantal, Michelle, Candice, Tammy, Tara and Keefton; grandchildren Carissa, Travis, Myles, Mindy-Ann, Brianna and Brendan; siblings Don, Marion, Linda, Sandra, Christina, Glenda, Carla and Della. The funeral service was held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 2:00 pm from the Bridgeway Community Church, Swift Current, Saskatchewan with President Devin Palmer officiating. Eulogy was presented by Marion Caple and several musical numbers were performed by Bob's sisters. Pallbearers were Keefton Tone, Travis Tone, Donald Tone, Darwin Johnsgaard, Delnor Johnsgaard, Jim Green, Joe Joeissen and John English. Interment was at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
