Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, January 17, 2011, of Edith Florence MacCallum (nee MacLauchlan) of Brackley Beach, age 97 years.
Beloved wife of the late Gregor MacCallum. Dear mother of Isabel Court, Stirling (predeceased), Ruth (John) Yeo, Marion, Ralph (Marie) and Heather (John) Gillis. Grandmother of Nan, Katherine, Caroline, John, Cory, Curtis, Jayne, Jason, Flora, Claire, Kimberley, Jeffrey (predeceased), Jonathan (predeceased), Duncan and Susan. Great-grandmother to 18 great-grandchildren. Sister of Beth Ellis, Leslie MacLauchlan, Wanda Mallett, Marguerite Ellis and Joyce Skinner. Predeceased by daughter-in-law, Yvette MacCallum, and brothers, Walter, Malcolm, Gideon, Alvin and Harry MacLauchlan.
Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Thursday from St. James United Church at 11 a.m. Interment in Brackley Point Cemetery.
Family flowers only, however, if so desired memorials to St. James Church, West Covehead or Brackley Point Cemetery would be appreciated.
