December 27, 1931 - January 16, 2011 - Johan Friedrich "Fred" Nordemann, 79, of Knightville, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on January16, 2011. Fred was the husband of 57 years to Edna Nordemann (nee Feddema) of Knightville. Besides his wife, Fred is survived by his daughters: Irene Elliot (Brian) of Knightville, Nancy Dettweiler (David) of Knightville, and Grace Northrup (Clarence) of Pleasant Ridge; his grandchildren: Renee Green (Richard), Cara Seeley (Tim), Aaron Dettweiler (Jaime), James Davis (Yayumi), Rebekah Davis, and Amanda Davis; great-grandchildren: Kevin Green, Cale Seeley, Autumn Seeley, Molly Rideout, Leaf Dettweiler, Brogan Davis, Isaak Davis, Julian Davis, Alexis MacKay and Brookelyn Davis. He is also survived by numerous family members in Ontario and The Netherlands. Fred was predeceased by his son, Norman, and by his grandson, Duane Elliot.
As per Fred's request, no visitation was held, and a private family service was held at the Petitcodiac Mennonite Church. Interment will be held in the Goseline Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Extra-Mural Program at the Sussex Health Center, the Mennonite Central Committee, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
