The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, July 3, 2009, of Mr. Edward C. "Mac" Barrett of Charlottetown, age 71 years. Beloved brother of Wendell, Thelma Gates, Adele (Lloyd) Biso and Ralph (Hope). Special friend of Betty and Elwood Vegg of Winsloe. He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Jane (Coffin) Barrett and brother, Harry. Resting at the Charlottetown Funeral Home, 33-35 Longworth Avenue, from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow in the People’s Cemetery.
