Olive Landry
Olive Landry, 89, wife of Dismas Landry formerly of Cap Pelé passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Villa Providence, Shediac. Born in Cap Pelé, June 29, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Willie Niles and the late Emma Thibodeau. Olive will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 67 years, Dismas, two daughters: Emma LeBlanc (Olivier) and Jacqueline Thériault (late Adrien) both of Moncton; four sons: André (Sylvie) and Maurice (Linda Cormier) both of Grand Barachois, Valmont (Charline) of Cap Pelé, Alvin (Hélène Paulin) of Moncton; two sisters: Marguerite Brine of Cap Pelé and Eva Monk of Calgary; one brother Gérard (Louisa) of Cap Pelé, nine grandchildren: Chantal, Daniel, Vanessa, Tania, Mélanie, Pascal, Martin, Sylvain and Patrick; four great grandchildren: Antoine, Chanelle, Geneviève and Ella and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son Ulysse, a sister Edmée and three brothers: Arthur, Charlie and David.
Visitation at Funérarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Rd., Cap Pelé (577-3297) on Wednesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of departure at 10:20 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at Ste. Thérèse d'Avila Roman Catholic Church, Cap Pelé on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery. In Olive's memory, donations can be made to the Parkinson Society of N.B.
