It is with great sadness that the family of the late Aubrey Murdock MacAulay announce his peaceful passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 18th, 2011 at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 63 years Olive (Crocker); daughter Shirley (Albert) Pear, Pasadena; grandchildren: Wade (Lisa) of Petawawa, ON, Natalie Pear of Wabush, NL, Nicole Tasin of Laurel, MD, USA; great grandchildren: Tyler Pear, Megan Martin, Travis Pear, Tanya Pear, Tyson Martin, Jacob Tasin; great-great grandchildren: Noah Pear, Chloe Pear, Kobe Pear; sister Inez Carter of Corner Brook; in-laws: Olive MacAulay, Mona MacAulay, Harrett MacLean of Summerside, Mona MacLean, Claren Brake, Albert Crocker, Ilene White, Job Crocker, Woodrow Crocker, Mary Basha, Inez Kelly, Jean Crocker and many other family and especially friends at Shamrock Manor. He is predeceased by his mother and father Laura & Alexander MacAulay, brothers: Angus, Alex, John, Donald, Lionel, Alfred & Basil. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, January 19th, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. & Thursday, January 20th, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Humber United Church, Clarence Street on Friday, January 21st, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Fran Ota officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Humber United Church Memorial Fund or the Bethany United Church, Summerside.
