It is with great regret that we announce the passing of Irene Hill (nee Bellefeuille) on January 15, 2011, at her residence at Chez Nous. Irene was born at McCord, Saskatchewan on May 1st, 1923. She was the oldest daughter and second child of the late Joseph Bellefeuille and Yvonne Masse. Irene married Clifford Hill. They farmed at Yellow Grass and Lang. Later they moved to Moose Jaw in 1972. Irene enjoyed bowling and square dancing, which took her to many parts of North America. She also spent many hours as a volunteer at the Moose Jaw Community Service Center. Mom loved crafting, especially cross-stitch, embroidery, card making and knitting. In her later years Mom loved to attend the many activities at Chez Nous. Irene is predeceased by her husband Cliff, daughter Darlene Dammann and son Stanley. She is survived by son Don (Lorraine); daughter-in-law Kathy Hill and son-in-law Gerry Dammann (Gayle); daughters Colette Skiftun (Orvel), Joanne Williams (Bob), Shelley Daoust (Emile); sister Lucille Semenuik; brother Raymond Bellefeuille; grandchildren Kirby Hill, Carolyne Neumann (Blair, Taylor and Madison), Kelly (Robyn) and Connie Hill; Krista Hill (Doug), Rayane and Kyle; Sharla Shaw (Jamie), Keri (Rick) Reiger, Karyce and Jasper, Corey (Nicole) Skiftun, Callie, Aaron (Roberta) Skiftun, Aiden; Brant (Lindsey) Dammann, Sierra, Kirk (Melanie) Dammann, Kinley; Colin (Memory) Dammann, Kale and Shelby; Breanne Dammann; Craig Williams, Alison (Kelly) Yaremko, Kailey; Kassimira and Antony Daoust. Friends are invited to Parkview Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 21st, for a time of visitation from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 22nd, 2011 at Parkview Funeral Chapel, 474 Hochelaga St. West. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice will be gratefully accepted. Internment at Lang Cemetery will be held at a later date.
