Mr. Lloyd Blackett of Sussex passed away on January 18, 2011 at the age of 74. He was the son of the late Dominick and MarieAnna (Sabident) Blackett. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Lee Goddard; his sister, Bertha LeBlanc of NS; his stepchildren: Karen Hummel of Sussex Corner and Paul Goddard (Debbie) of BC; three step grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers: Daniel, Harris, Bill, Ross, Milton, Bert and Muncey and by his sisters: Caroline, Mabel, Joyce, Marguerite and Martha.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 1 to 3pm, followed by a Celebration of Lloyd's life will begin at 3:00 pm.
