The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011 of Anne "Maureen" McLure (nee Binns) of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 76 years. Maureen was born on Jan. 3, 1935 in Leeds, England to her late parents, Roy and Elsie Binns. Beloved wife of Chester and loving mother of Stephen (Marianne) of Kingston, ON., Zane (Sharon) of Moncton, N.B. and Lynda (James) Cameron of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Janice, Stephan, Mariah and Kyle McLure and Hunter Cameron. Survived by her brothers Harry (Vera), Michael (Wendy) and Donald (Maureen) and her sister Betty Archer all of Yorkshire, England, her brother-in-law John (Frances) McLure of Charlottetown and sister-in-law Mae (John) MacDonald of Moncton, N.B. Besides her parents, Maureen was predeceased by her son Rick, brother Tony Binns , sister Wendy Kerr and brother-in-law Alan Archer. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday, Jan. 22 for a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date in Cavendish Cemetery. Visiting hours on Saturday afternoon, from 2 p.m. until time of funeral service. Memorial donations in Maureen's memory to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
