We regret to announce the passing of Barry Phillip Hebb, 60, of Ingonish. Barry died peacefully at Buchanan Memorial Hospital, Neils Harbour, on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the son of the late Reginald and Stella Hebb, Halifax.
He is survived by his two sons, Darrell (Nicole), Cheticamp, and Robbie (Rhonda), Ingonish; and his daughter, Stephanie, Ingonish. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Dakota and Jacob; brothers, Darrell (Mildred), Halifax, and Robbie, Kentville; and sisters, Theresa (Roger), Halifax, and Judy, Dartmouth.
Besides his parents, Barry was predeceased by his brother, Kenny and his sister, Sharon, both of Halifax.
Visitation for Barry Hebb will be held in St. Peter's Church, Ingonish, on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at 10 a.m. The funeral mass will take place at 11 a.m. with Fr. Dan MacDonald officiating. The burial will be in the parish cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barry's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
