BERGESON, Olga Ina (Cameron)- 1919 - 2010. Passed peacefully on her 91st birthday, December 3, 2010 She was born on Bell Island, Newfoundland, Canada to Marion Ethel (Hann) Cameron and Arthur Priestman Cameron. Olga was employed in a legal office in St. Johns, Newfoundland. She married Al Harold Bergeson, US Air Force CWO and they were stationed around the United States until they moved to Inglewood, Ca., where they lived from 1955 to 1985. Olga worked for the City of Inglewood for many of those years. She and Al moved to Northern California in 1985 and to Orinda, California in 1989, where they resided with their daughter Marcia Bergeson Dunn and her husband Homer G. Dunn who she adored. Olga was warmly welcomed as part of the Kelly Jay family in Orinda. She fondly referred to Patsy Jay as her other daughter. She was famous for her baked goods especially the powdered sugar cookies she loved making for the Jay's boys as well as her many friends. Al Bergeson passed in 1990 and in 1996 Olga moved to Heritage Pointe in Walnut Creek. She served as a Hostess for many years in her new home and was admired by many for her welcoming and caring personality. Olga made many loving friends at Heritage. She was widely known for her lifelong blessing of good luck. Olga is survived by her daughters Patsy Jay, Marcia Dunn, Marion Westmore and 3 grandchildren, Michael Westmore Jr., Michele Westmore Garcia, McKenzie Westmore Volpone, and her great-grandson, Maddox Westmore Volpone. She will be remembered in love and will be greatly missed. Memorial contributions may be made to the Red Cross.
