The death occurred very suddenly as a result of a tragic accident in Wellington on Friday, July 3, 2009, of Lionel Arsenault, dear husband of Thérese (nee Bernard) at the age of 63 years. He was son of late Théophile and Saraphique (nee Richard). Besides his loving wife, Thérese, he is survived by his cherished children, Ginette (Peter) Crawford, Miscouche, Stéphane (Rachelle) of Mt. Carmel, and Réjeanne (Jeremy) Arsenault of Abram-Village. Also survived by sisters and brothers, Flora Gallant of Summerside, Freddy (Albina) Arsenault of Summerside, Benny (Lila) Arsenault of Summerside, Tilmon (Iréne) Arsenault of Cape Egmont, Angèle (Melvin) Bernard of Summerside, Claira (Paul) Bernard of Summerside, Annie (Frankie) Arsenault of Wellington, Joe (Martina) Arsenault of Mt. Carmel, and two very special grandchildren, Carson Crawford and Katherine Arsenault, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Gerard (Della) and brothers-in-law, Eugene Gallant, Martin Richard and Earl Perry and sisters-in-law, Bernice Arsenault and Doris Bernard. He is an employee of J.A. Electric. Memorial donations to the P.C. Hospital Foundation and Big Brother & Big Sister would be greatly appreciated. Resting at the Evangeline Funeral Home until Monday, July 6, 2009, then to Notre Dame du Mt. Carmel Church, in Mt. Carmel for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Visitations for friends and family will be received on Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
