1912 - 2011 - André Caissie, 98yrs., of Résidence O Bons Soins, Shediac and formerly of Bouctouche, passed away peacefully at Hôpital Georges L. Dumont on Friday, January 21st, 2011. He was the son of the late Clément and the lateSara (Richard) Caissie of Sainte-Anne de Kent. André is survived by his sister, Marie Allain from Saint-Édouard, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Léa (Maillet) Caissie (2002) and five sisters: Therese Doucette, Delia Maillet, Claire Gautreau, Irene Bourque, Sister Imelda Caissie and four brothers: Jim, Pierre,Alphonse and Laurie.
A funeral service will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, in Bouctouche on Tuesday, January 25th, at 2:00. Visitation one hour prior to the celebration presided by Father Robert Allain. Internment will be in the Parish cemetery in the spring. The family wish to thank the doctors and nurses at the hospital, precisely of the palliative care unit for the attentive care attended to André. If so desired, donations to the foundation of the Hôpital Georges L. Dumont would be appreciated by the family.
