Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Centre (Palliative Care Unit) in the presence of her loving family on Saturday, January 22nd, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Thomas (1983) and Gertrude (1999) and sister Joan Marie McGrath (2009). Left with cherished memories her loving sisters Kay (Cyril Daley) and Ginger (Allan Noftall) of Victoria, BC; nieces Jennifer Noftall, Pamela (Tyler Sherwood), Joanne (Brian Power) and nephew Robert McGrath (Rianne); three great nieces Raili and Regan Sherwood and Emily McGrath; brother-in-law Tom McGrath. At Trudy's request there will be no visitation, Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 24th, 2011 at 11 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church, Mundy Pond. Private inurnment. Her family are grateful for the years of care that Trudy received from the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Clinic. Donations in her memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
