Passed away at Pallative Care Unit, North Haven Manor on Jan. 13, 2011, Elam Stuckey, age 89 years, formally of Pikes Arm. He was predeceased by his parents and five brothers. He leaves to mourn his wife of 59 years Lillian, daughters Louise (Roy Gillett), Bernice (Lorne Oldford), grandsons Jeffrey and Neil, granddaughters Christa and Michelle, great-grandchildren Hayden, Bella, Brayden, Chelsie and Lucas, brother Stewart (Maisie) and a large number of relatives and close friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Bruce Vallis on Jan. 15, 2011. Interment was at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Lewisporte. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte. Pallbearers were his sons-in-law Roy Gillett and Lorne Oldford, grandsons Jeffrey Gillett and Neil Gillett and granddaughters Christa Oldford-Brenson and Michelle Oldford-Hoffe. Donations in his memory may be made to the Anglican Cemetery Fund.
