Passed peacefully away at the L.A. Miller Center P.C.U. on January 25th, 2011, after a lengthy illness, Gorden Francis Aylward, aged 76, surrounded by family and friends. Predeceased by grandson Corey Aylward, mother Alice, father Jim, brothers: Pius, Phillip, Howard, sisters: Imelda, Phillis, Mary and Zeta. Sister-in-law Catherine and husband Dave Picco. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Violet (Pittman); sons: Victor (Corinne), Brian (Beverley), Gorden (Charlene); grandchildren: Gordon (Jennifer), Matthew, Mark, Brian, Victoria, Sophie, Dylan Aylward; great-granddaughter Layla Aylward; brother Jim (Mary); in-laws Gil Robichaud, Millie and Harold Hammond, Bob and Linda Pittman and Don Dinn. Special thanks to staff at St. Lukes Day Program and P.C.U. at the Miller Center and many relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements to be announced tomorrow.
