It is with great sadness that the family of the late CLARA M. THORNHILL of Little Bay East announces her passing at St. Clares Mercy Hospital in St. John's on Tuesday January 18, 2011 at the age of 74. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories Husband Baxter of 38 years; Daughters Debbie (John) Budgell of Portugal Cove, Diane (Albert) Hiscock of Halifax, NS; step sisters Lucy (Dago) Weise, Margaret Brassier, Anne Marie (Charlie) Hackett; Step Brothers Patrick (Judy) Whittle, Lorne (Francis) Whittle, Gordon (Theresa) Whittle, Thomas (Sharon) Whittle; 3 grandchildren Alexandria Budgell, Christopher and Karly Hiscock; Extended family Aunt Josephine Hynes, Tom and Judy Hynes, Jack and Monnie Hynes, Clyde and Bernie Freebourne; plus a large circle of family and friends. Funeral Service was held on Friday January 21, 2011 at 2:00pm at the Salem United Church in Little Bay East. Interment followed at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery in St. Bernard's. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lung Association.
