Ruby completed her journey on January 24, 2011. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Garrett Dewling; brothers: Levi, Bill and Newman; sisters: Enola and Rita; brother-in-law Eric Dewling; sisters-in-law: Rosalie Skinner and Doris Dewling; niece Rowena Skinner Butler and nephews: Eric Dewling and Peter Dewling. She leaves her children whom she dearly loved: Dave (Linda), Doug (Edwina), Joan (Diane) and Janice (Norman) and two very special grandchildren: Amanda Dewling (Ryan) and Adam Van De Spiegle; sisters-in-law: Onie Skinner, Whitby, Ont. and Fran Skinner, Hamilton, Ont.; a very special niece ("like a little sister") Enola Cain, Pickering, Ont.; other nieces and nephews in St. John's, Ontario and Germany; as well as family and friends especially those in her professional and community work. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from St. Thomas Anglican Church on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow.
