Wilma Kostey, 78, of Nolan’s Lane, Glace Bay, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2009, at the Glace Bay Health Care Facility.
Born in St. Esprit, Richmond Co., she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Dolena (MacKinnon) Ferguson.
Wilma is survived by three sons, James (Pauline), Stewart (Mary), Tommy, with whom she resided, all living in Glace Bay, three sisters, Sadie MacLeod, Port Morien, Patricia Wilmot, Sydney and Mae Mombourquette, Lower L’Ardoise. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Michelle, Lisa, Raven, Michael and several nieces and nephews.
Wilma was predeceased by her husband, Michael Kostey and a brother, Allistair.
There will be no visitation or memorial service. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home in Glace Bay.
As an expression of sympathy for Wilma, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
