Peter Graham Morrison, 48, of Dartmouth N.S., passed away peacefully Jan. 25, 2011, at the VG Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Peter was the son of the late William and Helen (MacInnis) Morrison, Loch Lomond.
Peter was a member of the Calvin Presbyterian church and also a volunteer firefighter in Loch Lomond, until moving to Dartmouth where he worked for Miller Tire for a number of years.
Peter is survived by his loving wife, Cindy (Weeks); sisters, Ann Neil, Halifax, Wilma (Gordon) Rhodenizer, Mahone Bay; brothers, Dan Alex, Kenneth, both of Loch Lomond, David, Howie Centre, Robert Albert. Several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will he held April 29, 2011, at 2 p.m., Calvin Presbyterian church, 3311 Ashburn Ave., (Bayers Road), Halifax, N.S., Rev. Micheal Koslowski officiating. Followed by interment at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens, Lower Sackville, N.S.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA, in respect to his great love for all animals.
