Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of his family on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, John Maloney in his 75th year of Holyrood. Predeceased by his parents James & Bridget Maloney, brother Matthew. Left with fond and loving memories are his devoted wife of 45 years, Ellen (nee Sheppard); his children: Terry, Derek, Debbie (Glenn) Parsons, Darlene (Dion) Gorman; poppy's little man, Darion; his sisters & brothers: Mary Fleming, Betty Hollinda (John), Angela McDonald, Bridget Thompson (Terrence), James (Madeline), Jerry (Loretta), Carmel Crawley (John); his little buddies: Domi & Finnigan and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Dunphy's Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Wednesday from 7 - 9 pm, Thursday from 2 - 4 pm & 7 - 9 pm and on Friday, from 10:30 am - 12 noon. Funeral will take place at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 28, 2011 with Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood.
