POINTE-SAPIN, NB - Yvonne Mazerolle 83, of Pointe Sapin passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria, St. Louis de Kent on Friday, January 28th, 2011. Born in Pointe-Sapin she was the daughter of the late Sylvestre and late Sylvie (Barrieau) Daigle. Before retiring Yvonne was a store owner for over 25 years. She enjoyed volunteering for many community events. She was a member of the Pointe-Sapin Golden Age Club. She attended St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin. Yvonne will be sadly missed by her four daughters; Gaétanne Mazerolle (Jean-François) of Pointe-Sapin, Annette Daigle (Georgie) of Pointe-Sapin, May Martin (Paul) of Baie-Ste.-Anne, Anne-Marie Mazerolle (François) of Pointe-Sapin, two sons; Yvon Mazerolle (Amanda) of Pointe-Sapin, Benoit Mazerolle (Kathie) of Taunton, MASS, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, one sister; Suzanne Savoie (late Joseph) of Pointe-Sapin, two sisters-in-law;
Dorca and Melvina and many nieces and nephews. Yvonne was predeceased by her parents, husband; Jean-François, one daughter; Elianne, three sons; Robert, Edgar, Antoine, one sister; Rosalie Gray and three brothers; Nazaire, Patrick and Exite.
Resting at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Pointe-Sapin with visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, Tuesday at 9:00 am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 1st, 2011 at 11:00 am, St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Pointe-Sapin. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring.
