Winnifred Annie Henderson, a long time resident of Pioneer Village, passed away peacefully at 100 years old, January 27, 2011. Born on January 17, 1911 in Davidson, Saskatchewan. She moved to Craik where she met Walter (Pat) Henderson. They were married in St. John Church in Saskatoon October 26, 1929. Pat passed away in 1968. Mom lived in Craik and raised three boys and four girls, then moved to Moose Jaw. Predeceased by husband "Pat" Walter, son Roy Henderson, grandson Jerrett Thomas, daughter-in-law Doris Henderson, and son-in-law Jim Botterill. She leaves to mourn her passing children: Alan Henderson, Fay Botterill, Peggy (Abe) Wiens, Laura (Jack) Duff, Willard (Trudie) Henderson, and Debbie (Mike ) Thomas; grandchildren, great, great-great, great-great-great-grandchildren. The Funeral Service will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Chapel on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 1:30 pm. Bishop Craig Botterill will officiate. Memorialization will take place at Prairie Memorial Columbarium at a later date. For the so wishing memorials to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation, 455 Fairford St. E., Moose Jaw, S6H 1H3, would be appreciated. In living memory of Winnie, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W.
