The funeral of Frederick L. Cochrane of Saint John, NB, husband of the late Marjorie "Marnie" (Hunter) Cochrane, was held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by friend Rev. Wayne Dryer and Rev. John Martin. Fred's friend, Barry Snodgrass was the organist and soloist. Floral memorials included those from Friends at Remax and the City of Fredericton Community Services. Donations in Frederick's memory include those made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (NB), Alzheimer Society of New Brunswick, Children's Wish Foundation of Canada (NB Chapter), UNBSJ Faculty of Business Scholarship Fund, Tuberous Sclerosis Canada, Ridgewood Veterans Wing Comfort Fund, Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB, Victorian Order of Nurses (Saint John) Community Board, Canadian Cancer Society and Gideon's International (Canada). Interment will take place in Amherst Cemetery, Amherst, Nova Scotia at a later date.
