Barbara A. Carlin, 79, of Moncton, with her daughter Sherry at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday January 27, 2011. Born in Saint John, Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a member of the Moncton Citadel Community Church, a member of the Salvation Army Home League and a former volunteer with Moncton Headstart. Barbara enjoyed knitting 100's of mittens and socks for children, loved stuffed animals and spending time with her family. Barbara will be sadly missed by her children, Sherry Bell (Phil Graham), Saint-Antoine, Phyllis Cameron, Saint John, Harvey Bell, Hampton, Lester Cameron, Toronto; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Raymond Carlin (December 2009); son, William Cameron; several brothers and sisters.
No visitation by personal request. Memorial Service at the Moncton Citadel Community Church, St. George Blvd., Tuesday February 1, 2011, 11:00 am, Major Ronald Douglas officiating. Reception following the service.
