
Stanley Cripps
Stanley H. Cripps Sr. of Upham, devoted husband of Rowena (Allaby) Cripps of Upham passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 28, 2011. Born 1931 in Ratters Corner, NB to the late Anna (Hayward) and Herber Cripps. Stanley was a truck driver and worked for Murray Gregory Lumber for many years retiring in the 80's.Stan is survived by his children Allison Cripps (Donna) of Saint John, Linda Hutchins (Harold) of Cumberland Bay, Stanley Cripps Jr. (Louise) of Midland, Sharon Joncas of Saint John, Beverley Cripps (Brian Thomas) of Oshawa, ON, Douglas Cripps (Phyllis) of Passekeag, Rhoda Hannah (William) of Kingston Peninsula and Anna LeBreton (Tony) of Smith's Creek; former wife Irene Cripps of Saint John; step children Brad Russell (Zonya) of Quispamsis and Natalie Russell of Saint John; sisters Edna Hann, Marie Richard (Jerry) both of Saint John; Audrey White (Tom) of Dartmouth, NS, Linda Day of Nova Scotia and Gladys Parks of Quispamsis.; 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, Stan was predeceased by his second wife Martha Ann Baxter, son in infancy David Cripps; granddaughter Casondra Cripps and a sister Dorothy McCrossin.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation or service.
