1964 - 2011 - Grande-Digue - Hélène Lebel, 46, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 30, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Edmundston, NB, she was the daughter of the late Roger W. Lebel and Géraldine St-Onge. Hélène will sadly be missed by her life partner, Lionel Albert; her daughter, Caroline Dugas (Max) of Montréal; her two sons, François Dugas (Maude) of Val Cartier, QC and Gabriel Lebel of Grande-Digue; her mother, Géraldine of Edmundston; her brother, Luc Lebel (Chantal) of Edmundston; also several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her, father, she was predeceased by two brothers, Pierre and Patrick. A special thank you to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit and to the doctors of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at a later date in Edmundston. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Palliative Care Unit or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
