Passed peacefully away on January 25 at the Toronto General Hospital after a brief illness Gerald Michael Doyle, aged 68 years. Predeceased by his parents Gerald S. Doyle and Marjorie (Mershon) Doyle, brothers Tom (2007) and Charlie (1976). Beloved fiance of Patricia Pitoscia, dear father of Andrew (Naomi), proud grandfather of Chanelle and Ty. Also leaving to mourn brothers Bob (Dorothy Abery), Pat (friend Deborah Elliott), John (Sandy LeFort), Bill (Cindy Osmond)and sister Marjorie (Patrick O'Flaherty), nieces, nephews and friends in Newfoundland and Ontario. Funeral service took place Saturday, January 29 at Toronto with inurnment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made in his name to a charity of one's choice. A Memorial Mass will be held in St. John's at a later date.
