Former employee of Metrobus. Passed peacefully away at his residence on Friday, January 28th, 2011. George Joseph Thomas, age 80 years. Predeceased by his wife Jean, sisters Mary Thomas and Phyllis Hart. Leaving to mourn 1 son: Rick (Linda); 3 daughters: Stella McDonald (Tom), Deborah Hogan (Tom) and Christina Thomas; grandchildren: Kimberly Corbett, Gregory Hogan (Robin), Shane Hogan, Tanya Harvey (Robyn) and Rodney Thomas (Tiffany Belbin); special great grandson: Hunter Hogan; 1 brother: Alfred Thomas (Violet); 3 sisters: Marg Pomroy (Jim), Bernice Thomas and Rose Patey. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 31st, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. from Caul's Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
