Passed peacefully away after a brief illness on Saturday, July 4, 2009, at St. Clare’s Hospital in the presence of his daughters, Richard Rose of Brigus Junction in his 65th year. Predeceased by his parents, William and Edith Rose. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his three daughters: Pam (Kevin), Wanda, Kelly (Jason); two grandchildren: Spencer and Isabelle; sister, Florence (Sam); brother, Charles (Kathleen); nephew, Ron; as well as a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus, with visitation on Monday from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m., Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Funeral to take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Broughton’s Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Brigus.
