Nancy Louise (McNeil) Deal - 49, of Canaan, Kings County. It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my wife and best friend, Nancy. She passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in the Valley Regional Hospital wrapped in a blanket of love and support, after a brief illness. Born in Windsor, and growing up in the Mount Denson / Hantsport area, she was very active in sports and won many medals and trophies including the Provincial Diving Title in the late 70's. After graduating high school, she attended NSCC, Kentville where she earned a diploma in Banking and Finance. Nancy was employed with Vail's Dry Cleaning for the past 14 years as a Seamstress and operated the Kentville branch. Nancy took part in many outdoor activities and enjoyed passing the time working on her various craft projects, especially her knitting. Nancy was well known for being extremely creative with the items she designed and made to give to friends and family. She loved to travel with her husband and with a group of friends. During these adventures, she gained a love for roller coasters, and various other thrill rides and activities. Nancy will be remembered for her fun loving personality and kind heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
