The death occurred in St. Catharines, Ont., due to cancer of Wilson Blacquiere, formerly of Summerside, age 68. Son of the late Albin and Adelaide Blacquiere. Survived by his wife, Rose. Loving father to Lisa Locke (Dale), Robyn, and Stacey (Nancy), and stepfather to Fernando, Gino (Marg), and Marie. As well, he will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his siblings Marjorie Chester (Bob), Ernie (Maria), Edmund (Barbara), Edna Alfano (Bob), Kenny, Nancy Silliker (Preston), and Donna Lee Randon (Victor Hankey). Predeceased by brothers Clifford and Elziar. A service to celebrate his life was held on July 5 in Ontario. Wilson will be greatly missed by all.
