PIPPY, Victor – Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Center, Gander, on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, Victor Pippy, age 87 years. Predeceased by his parents Jonathan and Elizabeth, brother Wilbur and sister Mamie. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Ada (Dollie); son Barry (Brenda) of Gander; daughter Christine (David) Boyde of Mt. Pearl; grandchildren: Cathy, Christopher, Andrew Boyde (fiancee Christine Macdonald), Jonathan and Jessica Pippy; brother Roy (Ruth); sisters; Mildred Vineham (Stan, deceased), Madeline Martin (Gordon), Margie Burton (Larry, deceased) and brother-in-law Sam Earle, all of Twillingate, as well as a large circle of other family and friends. Funeral Service Saturday, October 18th at 3 p.m. from The Salvation Army Citadel, Gander. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Gander. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Pippy's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Central North East Health Foundation (Palliative Care).
